Good Morning this Black Monday. It looks a bit murky out there this morning.

Mrs A wants us to go into town this morning, but I'm not so keen. -could be crowded.

I'll let you know how we got on.

Hope you all have a good day - not too black. :D

Morning Ally, Aggers and everyone :D
We were rudely awakened by the boiler man trying to beat the door down  Why can't he use the doorbell?
So, we let him in and now we are waiting for him to go and the rat catcher to arrive! He put a couple of traps in our shed on Monday, so he is coming to check them today...I will let Mr L deal with him :(
Big house day today, so hope we get the keys early. We want to get in and put curtains up. Seeing the letting agent next week to talk through things.
Hope everyone has a good day :D

Good morning,
Blue skies here,
Shopping this morning. Will have to get a new mobile phone. Mine has gone on the blink. It is a very early model and is Payasyuogo, so I don't need a smart phone.
Have a good day everybody

Good morning all :)

Aggers you are brave, apparently the shops will be heaving! Although maybe everyone will have watched the news, seen the stampedes, decided it will be too crowded, and stay indoors instead - in which case you will get some fabulous bargains :D ;)

Hope you find a nice phone Cruiser, I am the same and still on PAYG ;)

Oooh Loz I don't blame you, leaving that to MrL!! Hope that all gets sorted, and very good luck with the house today! XX

Another day off for Mick, so not sure what we're doing yet - we had a lovely day yesterday from my (burnt) toast in bed, to the delicious steak and Mediterranean veggies he cooked me for our dinner 8-) I used my new handbag (his pressie) for the first time - it was very comfy to use, nice and light even with all my junk in it ;)

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Morning all - a bit grey this morning but dry and they're saying it's meant to be a nice weekend which is great

Usual work day for me today then home in time for a Tesco delivery.

Aggers - I'm with Kaz on this one; depending on where Mrs A wants to go I'd try and convince her to wait until tomorrow. Some of the shops will be pure mayhem and chaos
Loz - best of luck with the house today; how exciting. And yup let Mr L deal with the rat catcher.
Cruiser - why not look on EBay for a 2nd hand phone or even advertise on Freecycle for one; if you only need a regular normal handset I'm sure you'd be able to get one for next to nothing if not free?
Ally - enjoy the beer and tapas; as always your Friday evenings sound fantastic fun
Kaz - enjoy whatever it is you're going to end up doing today. The dinner last night sounds delicious!

Have a lovely day all xx

Morning all, it's a nice looking day out there although I haven't been out yet. I'm heading off to a shopping centre in a while, hopefully we will not have too much Black Friday nonsense, I just need a few bits in Boots and a potter around, some retail therapy to soothe my frazzled brain. Then back to do some packing. Late Late Toy Show on tv tonight, an Irish institution. Have a good day everyone :)

Morning :)
Dull and windy, but not raining, hoorah! :D

I do need to go into town at some point (Bb's working locally so he's coming and going) but it won't be heaving as we don't have those kind of shops :D
There's a delivery due so we can't both go out at once.

Argos's website needs upgrading, it's been crashing since about 8 o'clock - there's no point offering 'amazing' deals if no-one can see them ;)
Exciting Loz (not the rats, obviously), good luck with it :)
Glad you had a nice day Kaz :)
Bit groggy this morning, hopefully will be more with-it later :)

I've managed to persuade Mrs A to put off the idea of shopping today.
(I think it was really the TV News that decided her - not me !)
