Good morning. :D

Turning out nice again. :D 8-)

Taking Don to the airport shortly - he's off to the UK till Thursday.

I'll go for a run when I get back and be home in time for Saturday Kitchen.

The boys are treating me to a Chinese takeaway tonight and watching SCD with me...before they go off clubbing.

Have a good day everyone.

Morning Ally, wishing Don a safe trip and not too much rain ;) Seems dry here today so far...... ;)

We're going to Cheltenham, for someyou-know-what shopping :) Becks is working, there is no H again, and even D isn't around today so we are free agents  I like Cheltenham so am looking forward to it, and it's lovely at this time of year, even though it will probably be heaving  ;)

Have a good day everyone xxxxx

Morning :)

Hope Don has a good trip Ally, he'll probably be wearing all his clothes at once :D
Kaz I guess once the shops are Christmassy they're bound to be heaving; it's still rather early for me, am not in the mood for it yet, but am looking forward to seeing the lights and the windows while we're in London :)

Dark and dank and drizzly here, but if it doesn't get any worse I or we will probably go down into the town for a wander and maybe some lunch. Himself's working but here and shouldn't be too long.

There's a lovely shop in the Gran Plaza in Tavira that has the most gorgeous c-word stuff in :D I bought a penguin and a dafty figurine the other day

Hope you all have a good day, whatever the weather xx

Morning all :D

We're up early as we have a few viewings booked, four bungalows. On the web they never look exactly as we expect so not sure what we'll find. On paper the first one should be very nice, it's in a super location near the sea front, but is definitely on the high side price wise, a bit more than we want to spend but worth a look if only to see what you get for your money there. The second two are actually in the village so well placed to walk to the shops, one of our original criteria and what I had in mind when we started our search. I'd be happy with either location, but E's really got his heart set on being closer to the sea front. The third is actually nearer to the sea, but because the price is low I suspect it's a proper doer upper, also depending what side of the road it is it could be a tad too close to the railway line. Will be interesting, but I suspect it will take something really special to top the apartment.

After all that excitement and weather permitting and as we'll be over that way we'll probably drive down and have a stroll along the seafront at Minnis Bay and I've no doubt we'll force ourselves to pop in here http://theminnis.co.uk/ for coffee.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Good Morning all
Wet and murky here.
I have been looking for Christmas Markets for you, Jen
and the best one i think is Rochester.http://www.christmasmarkets.com/UK/roch ... arket.html
We have small ones round here but nothing on the scale of this one :D
I am off to Sainsburys to convert my Nectar points into vouchers.
You can get double the value so my 5500 points will give me £60 to spend on clothes or whatever i nominate.
It is only on till Monday but too good to miss.
I am glad you like the photos i posted as they took me so long to do
They look like they are having a good time and have only been away just over a week.
Still got nearly two months to go :D
Have a good day.

lissie

Morning chums :D
Grey and grim here today. But never mind, a damp dog walk will prepare me nicely for home made soup and an afternoon of sewing or reading.
Happy shopping to you mad people and good luck with your house hunt Jen.
Have a good day everyone xxx

Good morning all, it's showery here but feels quite mild.

We're just sitting, John and myself, in the downstairs living room with our iPads and some lovely coffee. Joe's still in bed, he and his friends were supposed to be having an all-night XBox-athon last night and he was still up and playing at 2.30 but I checked on him at 6 and the lights were out and he was fast asleep in bed

Tom stayed at M's last night. She was working until 10 and at 10.45pm he suddenly announced that he was getting the bus and going to her house (John had had a bottle of beer so wouldn't drive him), in other words, she clicked her fingers and he went running   Can't say that either of us were particularly happy about it, and I did tell him, but what can you do? He starts his job today and went out in such a rush that he's bound to have forgotten something...

We'll pop and visit my parents later and I want to clean the hall carpet at some point.

Hope the viewings go well Jen!

Have a good day all!
