Good morning all :)

Ally that sounds nice, enjoy your day :)

Debih my thoughts are with you all, particularly the girls today (((((((x))))))

Well it's a dry day forecast here, fingers crossed as I'm going to the annual Victorian Christmas Market, here in Gloucester Quays which opens today, with D :) We go most years, it's a fun day out with lots of stalls and characters dressed in costume, acting in costume  I'm hoping to get a few Christmas presents, as I am seriously low on inspiration this year

Have a good day everyone xxxx

Morning all

Ally - I'm jealous. Admittedly it's been dry for the past day or so but it's getting rather nippy in the evenings now. I wouldn't mind a few more balmy evenings to sit outside ;-)

Kaz, that Christmas Market sounds amazing. I'm hoping to get to the one in Winchester this year but not sure how to fit it in - I don't have a free weekend between now and 3rd January :?

Debih; thinking of you and the family this afternoon. I think it'll be nice for your mom to have the girls with her and hopefully the three of them will have an OK time together. xxx

Have a lovely day everyone xxx

Morning all :)
Dry here too and almost bright - well, not so dark anyway!

Ally the start of your weekend then :)
Kaz that sounds fun - I might get to Southampton tomorrow, via the Hythe ferry as that's where Bb's working - not on the ferry lol, but it's quite a good way of going as you then get a free bus to the shopping centre :)
Meriad you are just too much in demand :D

Thinking of you all Debih, it will be nice for your mum to have the girls there (((x))).

I'd best do a bit of cleaning and stuff, haven't really done any this week, and a wander up into the village later.
Have a good day
Di

Morning all :D

Will be thinking of you and the girls this afternoon debih xxx

Love the sound of the Christmas market kaz. We always meant to visit the one in Bath and somehow never got around to it, will have to see if there's anything similar happening down here in Kent. Wonder if Lissie knows about any.

It started off quite grey, but dry, here and now it looks like the sun's trying to come out. We need to pop into town for some fresh veggies so might force ourselves to walk down to the harbour......such a hardship

Hope you all have a good day :D

Afternoon all, after a very foggy start it has cleared up quite nicely now. Feeling a lot better today. Not good news about our new house, looks like it won't be finished anywhere near Christmas, according to Mr. Osc's nephew who is the electrician on the job :( :( Time to stop being nice I think and a stinker of an email is already in draft form for first thing Monday once we have had a look at the progress or lack of it on Sunday   We are both very down about it, as Miss Osc will probably move by about the 10th December if the house they are interested is prepared to negotiate on rent. Even if they don't move, the deal always was that Kellie would move into our room before January as Miss Osc plans to go back to work then and although they won't see us stuck, they need to be able to get on with things. The builder is liable for our accommodation costs once we go past the scheduled completion date, and the cynic in me wonders if they have built that cost into the tender

Miss Osc has taken Kellie to meet a friend, and we are collecting Michael from school, just about to ring a friend for a chat and then we will head out for him. Homework time when he comes home, he probably knows more than we do  Special thoughts for Debih and her girls today xxxx

Oh Osc, that is very frustrating. I really do hope that the builders pull finger and that you can get in by the expected completion date. It's just so darn annoying and I really really hope that the builder hasn't factored in running over and having to put you up in his costs to you. GGGRRRRR on your behalf x
