Good morning.

A dolly mixture day weather wise - we had rain through the night. Now it's just dry, cloudy, with some sun and warm.

We have John's funeral at Benalmadena crematorium at 1pm. :(

Back to his partner's Sean's house for a small gathering.

We've decided no beers and tapas tonight - we fancy staying cuddled up on the sofa although on opposite sides of the fence...Scotland and Ireland are playing.

Hugs for Osc.

Hope everyone has a goodly day. x

Morning Ally. Big ((((hugs)))))) for your sad day, hope it all goes as well as these things ever can xxxxxx

Morning everyone, more grey skies and rain here, but luckily no flooding for us yet!! Poor Osc, I do so feel for you all :( xxx

Friday again already!!! The weeks seem to be speeding past at the moment! Another quiet weekend in prospect, just us three again, no H. No special plans for today or for the weekend as yet, so we'll see how it all goes... :)

Have a good day today if you can, and hugs for all (((((x))))

Morning :)
That smiley face is quite resistant sometimes!

This ain't just rain - we couldn't even see the other side of the road during the last huge downpour
Our garden is a lake; I remember well how scary it was at my parents' old house, watching the water come gradually up and up the garden to the back doorstep.
It is supposed to clear from here mid-morning or so, really hope it stops for you Osc xx

Bb was going to drop me in town for a couple of hours while he's working locally, but I'll wait and see if this lot stops - there aren't really any big indoor places here, it's more a question of walking up and down the High St. Not too much fun in the torrential rain!

Thinking of you Ally (((xx))
Hope some of you manage to have a good day, stay safe all
Di
x

You too Di (((x)))

We had that sort of rain here last weekend - it was raining so hard and was so windy that it looked like a vertical sheet of water for a while :?

Morning all :D

Hugs for all who need them today x

Wet, windy and grey at the moment. Think it's supposed to brighten up a bit around lunch time, but I'm not taking any bets  Whatever it does, we're off to M&S this afternoon, need to pick mother's Christmas pressies up.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Morning everyone

Sunshine and cloudy, but hot this morning.

Osc, have a huge hug xx And Ally too xx

We had that rain last night, for about 8 hours, maybe 9. But it's virtually dry here now.

Couldn't get on here earlier, Grumpy was hogging the computer  and Tom is on his way with breakfast and also the stoma clinic rang to say I have an appointment on 1 Novemeber and I cannot make any sense of what she was saying   So she sent me a text to confirm and it's still 1 November

Ho hum.

Hope your day improves, over there and have a good one, if you can xx

Good Morning all :)
Wet and miserable here too :(
After Sunday`s episode with the drains and sewer overflowing
i am keeping an eye on things.
It was caused by the heavy rain according to Southern Water.
They did send someone to disinfect and clean but it is not pleasant
I have been told to phone up at the first sign of overflowing and they will
then start to investigate the problem
We know what the problem is--the new housing estate at the bottom of the
hill was put on to our system and pumped UP THE HILL believe it or not
This time i will persist in pestering them (along with my neighbours) until
something is done.
