Off to the dentist this morning (more joy). Only a check up, so shouldn't be there long...I hope.

Home to housework, home made soup and sewing. Tango class tonight

Morning all. Dark and dreary here.

I'm exhausted. I couldn't sleep again last night - I saw 3.30am come round and then I must have fallen asleep. My alarm went off at 6am!

Work for me until around 3pm - I'm in the office on my own so don't really have to put very much effort in today. Meeting the girls after school as S needs new school trainers and they both want to buy themselves some new jeans. Will pop in on mum and dad after.

Oh I hate it when that happens Debih. I had a spell of it earlier this year, but the other way round - I'd go to bed, fall fast asleep and then come 2 or 3 am I'd wake up and just not be able to get back to sleep. I'd just toss and turn and just couldn't get comfortable.

After more lovely rain last night, we now have blue sky and sunshine and it's warm too

Morning all

Not sure what the weather's doing today. It rained heavily overnight again and is a bit grey and windy, but the sun does keep trying to peep out.

Think we're going out to do some Christmas shopping after brekkie. Don't need much now, most of it's been ordered online and is either delivered or on it's way. Mother's pressies will be ready to collect from M&S this Friday. Can't believe how organised I am this year mind you that's likely to go to pot when it comes to wrapping it all E and I can't think of anything we really want so as we've got the two days in London booked for 18/19 Jan that can be our present to each other.

im late today woke up late not a good start
but J is comming so a piece of pork is in the oven with
roasties sausages frozen peas carrots stuffing
and real yorkshire pudding
he will travel anywere for a roast dinner

kaz / jo my sky channels stopped last night
i expected a blank screen
but everything is still there
except some sky channels and sport channels
no men on bikes
i shall have to get that sorted before next season
its fine at the moment (weather) but rain forcast

Morning all
There's been lots and lots - and lots - of rain but it does seem to have stopped now...maybe

Finally got a proper sleep, could have done without yesterday's rush around but didn't want to put it off.
Have been sorting/packing away/getting out clothes. Because of going away, and it still being so warm, I seemed to be stuck with a lot of summer stuff as well as wintery. Not quite there but a better selection now

It's still pretty warm though, isn't it? We did put the heating on for a couple of hours on Sunday, the house felt cold, but haven't had it on since.
Hope the dentists have gone well
