Oh I am feeling sad.......my girl told me today she knows Santa isn't real (what on earth does she mean!???? lol )

Driving along the road and she started asking if I believed in fairies, trolls, goblins etc and then the Santa question, she then said I know mum, its you! Said one of her friends said it was her mum! Had a chat and all is fine, we were both laughing and crying and then i got a huge cuddle from her.........told her we still have to go to bed early and believe or no prezzies!

My baby girl is growing up, she will always be my baby though

Seriously, it is sad when our little ones start growing up and find out that the tooth fairy doesn't exsist either

Told her I still struggle to go to bed the night before and then I wake up mega early as I am too excited lol she did ask me a few years ago but I managed to convince her, but not this time...... :'(

That is such a sweet story, Pol. I remember one year my parents even put some soot in the hearth but I did not let on as I realised it would be in my best interests to say nowt Some beliefs however persist into old age for many.
