How are you and Mrs Aggers doing since the loss of your lovely boy?

Well, it's a fortnight now, and we are still missing him so much.

For a week, Mrs A has tried not to see anyone, so that she did not have to tell them of our sad loss.
She also has been suffering more physical pain than usual, which I think must be a consequence of her grief.
I am coming to terms with it now, but it;s not been easy. We are trying to change our daily routines as a
way of coping. and this is helping.

Typing this has not been easy.

Oh Aggers (((((((((((((Aggers & Mrs A)))))))))) losing such a loved pup is so hard. We love them so much don't we?

No, not yet. But we will do one day.
When we do I'll post a picture of the oil painting on here.

That would be nice Is it you that does cross-stitch Aggers? How about a cross-stitch picture?

I am sorry I hope my asking didnt make cause you more pain.

I am sure Mrs A's worsening pain is all connected. Maybe talking about it might actually help her?

I have just seen your post my dear friend. The loss of ones pet is and can be agonising. My beautiful Barney had to be put to sleep earlier this year, my grief was , and still is so very painful. He was my life following the death of my beloved husband, my he was my strength and his loss still affects me today. But it was time to release him from the pain he was so bravely suffering. He is buried on the family plot and he is where we all will be still part of the family.(xxxxx) for you both.

Sometimes talking about things to strangers who understand may actually help. I know a few people who have called these people when they needed them and apparently they are absolutely amazing

Thanks, Meriad. We had already downloaded some very helpful material from Blue Cross.

We are slowly coming to terms with our loss, and every day now seems a little less painful.

The hardest part is the fact that we now have to completely re-organise our daily routine,
and get used to the fact that we can now go to places together that have been out of the
question for over twelve years, It would be easier if we acquired another puppy, but at my
age that might not prove to be a very good idea.

I must thank all my lovely friends here who have given us such understanding and kind words.
