Went down to Asda this morning, and they're doing that 50p for a can of soup or beans offer again.

So I stocked up, and if we're all put under quarantine for 21 days, well, we can now survive on what I've stockpiled in the garage.

Y'all welcome to join us ...... as long as you like spaghetti, cheesy beanz and beef broth, that is ...

What comfort foods would you be stockpiling?

I have a garage freezer full of stuff so I think we'd be ok for several weeks ;) Oh and also in the garage, several huge multipacks of loo roll and kitchen roll bought on special offer......We'd survive :D

I'd stock up on dog food, weightwatchers biscuits (to be good) and choccy oranges (to be bad :P )  Oh and wine!!!!!

Heinz Chicken Soup - 50p a can at Tesco. A real take me back to my childhood comfort food for me.

And chocolate. I'd need a direct delivery from Cadbury though if I had to stock up for 21 days

You know Kaz, there's not one in Birmingham apart from the shop at Cadbury World but I'm not sure if that can be accessed if you've not paid admission to the whole attraction!

I'd need Osc's special smiley for that one :o
Please don't put it in though, I don't like it :D

Wine, naturally - rather a lot ;)
Chocolate of course :)
Flour I guess, for the bread, pizzas, all sorts :D
Tins would be tomatoes, baked beans, lentil soup (for when the fresh veg ran out), and Heinz tomato for that childhood comfort food fix ;)
Oh and cheese - several great big blocks of extra mature cheddar :D

totally with Di on the wine and cheese    they are a definite must have

I'd also make sure I've got 'ready' packs of bread mixes - no pfaffing about mixing the yeast, flour etc , tinned tomatoes, frozen veg, pasta and rice
