What a laugh.
My last lot of students on a Tuesday/Thursday are complete beginners in learning English.
They were all sitting doing a worksheet exercise I'd given them when up pipes Rocio:
Rocio: Qué significa see ya?
Me: (Writing on the board so didn't see what I should have ) said... Oh it means see you later, cheerio, bye
Rocio: No profesora, silla!!
It was then that I noticed she was pointing at the chairs.
Silla (pronounced seeya) means seat!
Cue mucho laughter!
