Gosh what a LOVELY weekend we've had with Ria

She arrived just before lunchtime yesterday, and after a quick mugging by Fraggs and Pepper we drove off to Bourton on the Water, had a lovely mooch round, a nice lunch in the pub there, a few retail opportunities arose ( ) and then back here for a lovely evening of wine, roast chicken, much chatter and much petting of the pups who took to Ria in a really big way

We staggered off to bed eventually, then up this morning to strong coffee (strong tea for me ) and then out in the lovely sunshine to Gloucester Docks where we walked all round the basin to show Ria the water, and the boats, then into Correttos for a brunch of paninis, coffee (tea!) and walked back through the outlet shops to the car

Ria has just left, and I miss her already!!! The dogs certainly do too, they have paced round the house looking for her and only just settled down

I took a few pics yesterday and will post them later - it truly was a fantastic weekend, thanks for coming Ria

It was dry Saundra, definitely the main thing, and as you say much less crowded than in the main season
