Morning all. I'm lay in bed waiting for the rain to start - it's forecast.

A day of pottering for me. Blackberry and apple jam to make damsons to pick and inside windows to clean. And books to read!

So, change of plan for today - now I'm not sure what we're going to do. But we'll have a gert fry-up for breakfast and then decide. At least we have lots of books to read

Bb's not working much today which is nice. It's the main fund-raising fun dog day for the place we got Minnie from tomorrow so I'll be making some cakes and things to take along. We can't stay for the actual events etc as Minnie can't be amongst too many dogs due to her low-zero immunity. Just hope they have half-decent weather for it.

Morning all

Well that's the bungalow put to bed. As we expected the vendor didn't accept our lower offer, mind you we didn't get the call until just after 1pm so even then it's obvious they were completely ignoring the deadline. As I said to the agent, whatever their decision nothing could have been done yesterday at that late stage. Tbh I'm quite relieved, the whole thing was just becoming one problem after another. Even E who was really keen got fed up with it, as he says not our worry anymore.

Now the race is on to find a suitable rental, it's only three weeks until we have to move out of this house. We're driving down to Kent tomorrow, stopping off to see Z and boys on the way. Thought it would be good to be there ready to start talking to agents first thing Monday morning.

Not much planned for today, expecting a client at 10, got the usual washing on the go, oh and I expect we'll do more packing.

It's dull here, but hopefully no rain. We'll see Just us this weekend, Becks is back on Tuesday, Harry is busy with Harry things, so a quiet one! Out later for some lunch, then popping to see D and then Morrison's later I think. Not doing the shop tomorrow as I've been promised Sunday lunch at the pub Will be ringing my aunty at some point, to see how things are and pass on my love and support.....
