I've been for a quick run and am now enjoying a coffee. :D

Pootling today as a pootle mood is what I'm in.

Have a good day. :D

Morning Ally :) Hope you have a good pootle :D 8-)

Another grey start here, but I think it will brighten up later, like it did yesterday 8-) When it does, I'll be out enjoying it 8-) Back to school today, for most of the children locally - that will make town much quieter ;) 8-) :D Harry goes back today as well, year 10 and the start of his GCSE courses  :D

Hope everyone is ok, that the poorlies feel better and that those waiting for house news get good news 8-)

Good morning Ally, Kaz and all.

It promises to be a fine day, so, if you can, get out and enjoy it.

For a start, we are going food shopping (how exciting). I'm also going to buy
a powerful super CD player for my Golden Oldies Nights. (More new technology
to keep my brain active.

Take care.

Morning all :D

Hope you feel better soon Gal x

Up early as it's hairdresser this morning, the usual six weekly cut/colour/blowdry.

Sent an e-mail to the Kent agent late yesterday afternoon in response to a message telling us the vendors solicitor is busy drafting an indemnity policy, in fairness she did tell them it wouldn't be acceptable. Today we'll make a final offer, it's quite a bit lower to compensate for the risk of possibly having to demolish/rebuild the extension to meet building regs. The reality is that's worst case scenario, but nevertheless it's a risk we would be taking liability for. Will be interesting to see what they say, I'm guessing it will be a resounding no. Tbh we've got to the stage where we feel the whole thing is becoming more bother than it's worth, we always said we weren't looking for a project requiring major structural work and that's what this is turning into. Much as E really loved the bungalow he's totally fed up with all the hassle and agrees it's probably far better to cut our losses and look again.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Morning all :)
It's brightened up here already and set to be a gorgeous day, so I've whizzed around a bit, got some washing in, and Bb's not working till later this afternoon so we think we'll have a little pootle out :D

Jen it does get like that - you never know though, they may just accept it :)

Have a good pootling day all

Morning all. Grey and misty start here - not sure of the forecast but it does look like rain is threatening.

But I am stuck in the office for most of the day so the weather hardly matters.

Good morning everyone. Dull and calm here and not too cool so that suits me down to the ground. I had a text from a lovely lady (Ally :D ) who lives in Spain showing me a picture of their weather so that I know what to look forward to. Less than 3 weeks now until we go.

I have my 50+ class this morning followed by SW weigh in. After that the day is my own and I haven't decided which exciting thing to do first, the ironing or steaming the floors.

Morning everyone

Lovely morning :D makes up for yesterdays sea mist ;)

Off shopping too, later. Oh the deep joy of Lidl's and Aldi

Jen, see what they have to say and then, if need be, move on. Such a shame, especially if E really likes it - but there will eb another one around the corner xx

Hope you all have a good day and enjoy the weather :D
