Good morning.

Another scorcher brewing.

I've just done a good long run - just what I needed.

A swim next then some nice strong coffee.

Today we're out and about - a new vacuum cleaner to be purchased, some new pots and pans, a mooch in Ikea and lunch somewhere after that.

No Friday night beers and tapas as our usual crew have gone camping in northern Spain.

We're going to catch up on recorded programmes and Don is making us a king sized salad for dinner tonight.

Morning all

Don't know where this week has gone, seems to have flown by

Got to take my car over for it's annual service and MOT this morning. I know one of the windscreen wiper blades needs replacing, fingers crossed they don't find much more.

More packing when we get back I expect. Will also give the solicitor a ring to find out if our sellers have provided answers to the queries raised. The fact we've heard nothing at all this week doesn't give us much confidence. The deadline we gave them is next Friday so unless there's movement we don't know about it's looking more and more likely we'll be urgently looking for a rental

Lovely and hot with a few fluffy white clouds in the sky

Off down to the village soon, before it gets too hot and then back to sit in the shade

Leftovers again for dinner, I still have this habit of making faaaaar too much (the boys moved out about 15 years ago ) and we need to get organised for tomorrow.

Weather report, 7am, local radio: 'Dry, bright and breezy with just the chance of a shower late afternoon'.
Us: Woken up around 6 by deafening rain hitting the window...
Weather, BBC South, 7.30 am: 'Any rain died out overnight leaving a mostly dry, breezy day with the possibility of the odd shower later this afternoon'.
Here: Rain indeed stopped, put bedding on to wash.
7.45: Rain hammering down.
Now: Washing finished - rain bouncing off the road

What's tomorrow Ton have I missed something?
