Good morning Ally. Overcast here had been for the past few days.
Cousin arriving today over from Vietnam (he is an entrepreneur ) married to a lovely Vietnamese girl with a baby called Charlie, he looks adorable cannot wait to see him and his latest pictures of the family. Cooking a hearty meal he is bringing a puppy he is caring for, Oscar is loving so he or she should be welcomed as a playmate.
Brian cousin is evidently crippled with sciatica so I will have to work on him, I thought my practitioner days were over but I still receive phone calls for help.

Morning :)
Dull and a bit chilly here at the moment.
Nothing special planned, there's a work parcel being re-delivered for Bb so once he's out I'll have to stay in for that.
Enjoy your visitors Kate :)
Hope everyone has a good day

Morning all :)

Things are very quiet here, the dogs slept well, but despite me moving him every time, I kept waking with Fraggle pressed into my spine! I understand his clinginess, being a rescue, but it's not a good thing when you have a bad back   Just about to get dressed to take them for a run on the field, they've already been down the garden earlier. I managed them both at once last night, just about, so am hoping this morning will be the same. Am waiting for the usual dog walkers to leave as Fraggs pulls and gets very excited at other dogs and I don't want to lose hold of him!

Mick rang, his trip is going well and he had some good news which I will put on a private board later :) 8-)

I might risk leaving the woofs for an jour later, once my washing is pegged out and the hoovering done, I feel a bit cooped up having stayed in with them all day yesterday ;)

Enjoy your visitors Kate, I haven't done any reiki for ages myself, hope that goes well for you xxx

Di I hope the parcel turns up :)

Morning Ally, thinking of you today - big hugs (((((((((((((((x)))))))))))))))))

Morning Loz :) xx

Have a good day everyone :) xxxx

Morning all - going to spend most of the day cleaning, cleaning and more cleaning. Mom's arriving tonight to stay with me for 10 days so the house has to be just so you know - there is a big difference between my kind of clean and mommy clean! ;)

Also need to do some grocery shopping to get the things that she likes and can't get in Germany; or the things that she usually has at home but I don't

have a lovely day all

Morning all :D

The sun's out, hope it lasts.

Removal company now booked, it was a bit complicated as we needed three different prices, the bungalow with it's narrow access, a rental property and as a last resort a storage option if there's a gap between leaving here and moving in somewhere. Really want to avoid that one. The only bit that doesn't change on any of the quotes is the date, that stays the same whatever else happens. No news on the bungalow front and as the deadline is Friday next week not too confident it will happen.

Oh and our buyers really don't understand 'back off and give us some space' they've been pestering the agent and last night a note was shoved through our letter box........

We appreciate that you may be busy with your own arrangement but would really appreciate it if you could let us know if there's a time that is convenient for you both for us to pop over again. We have tried to arrange through (Agent) but we aren't sure if they are passing on our request.

A mobile number was included which I definitely don't intend to use, it's pretty obvious I'd be bombarded by calls and texts  I get they're excited about the house, but how about showing a bit of sensitivity around the position their ultimatum has created for us  At the moment we're busy trying to sort our stuff out, what we take, what the girls want etc. Eldest daughter's popping over on Saturday to help go through some of mothers things. Of course we will let them come round, but not for another couple of weeks, probably when we get back from Kent if we do have to travel down there to source a rental. That still gives them two weeks, pretty standard for most completions, before they move in for goodness sake   Honestly it's not like they need to measure up for much, they're getting top quality carpets, curtains, blinds, all the white goods in the kitchen including a plumbed in stainless steel American fridge/freezer, fitted wardrobes etc etc.........all of which by the way they are delighted about.

Going over to visit mother this morning, hopefully we can take her out for coffee and ice cream. Afterwards it's the usual pay her papers, do the banking, and then we really need to buy more food.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Morning everyone

Seems to be getting hotter by the day :o :o 8-) and night  last night was very hot

Hugs Ally xxx

Jen, a message to the agent to the buyers to say could they possibly leave things for a couple of weeks, as you have so much on your plate, then they can have as much access as they want? I remember the people who bought our house in England were forever knocking on our door, can we leave them the kitchen table? can we leave them this, that and the other, seeing as how we were going abroad.

Off shopping soon, then back for a late breakfast.

Salad for dinner

Hope M has a good journey back down Kaz, enjoy your visitors Kate and hope we all have a good day xx

I've just left a message for the agent to call me back this afternoon Ton. It's repeating what I've already said, but this time I need to be a bit more forceful   Something along the lines of **** off until we're ready springs to mind

Jen I think Ton's suggestion is spot on - they sound very excited and probably don't realise you are finding them insensitive  Hope you get it sorted (((((x)))))

Thanks Ton, his flight is at 3ish so he should be home early evening 8-) I've missed him terribly, just not quite as terribly as the pups have :P

They got their walk, but I waited until the guy with the two black labs had gone - Fraggs loves to socialise and I was afraid he'd pull me over. You would not believe how strong he is for a small dog    Peps is no trouble, you can let her off and she always comes back but I put F on the extendable lead as I wasn't 100% certain he'd come back for me, if he got overexcited!
