The August heat continues its merry hotness.

I've had a swim and now getting ready for work.

Finish at 1 then home to do a few domestic duties.

We finally have rain...I don't actually mind, since we've been told it would rain several times and it's amounted to nothing but the odd bit of drizzle, and the gardens do need it. But it would do it now, wouldn't it, on a bank holiday!
Bb will be working, so he'll be trudging around in it, although with any luck it will mean fewer cars to hold him up.

He'll be back early afternoon I think, and it is supposed to clear up so we'll wait and see.
I might spend some time in the kitchen, thought I might make a batch of curry sauce from one book or another...

It is trying to rain. Wil just be pottering today.

Debih, I thought we didn't mention the C word till December.
Don't have to do any shopping as grand children only want money. Have stopped buying for our sons and daughter several years ago.

I think I am going potty, wrote on morning greetings cannot find it, should I have put it on the wrong subject forgive me!
Rain rain rain here, still dark when Oscar woke me on the dot of Six telling me with a gentle throaty murmur it was six o'clock. (Same every morning he is so clever ) he can tell the time
I await and so does he his six weekly bath, his grooming on the 8th of next month, he looks marvellous following his beauty treatment.

Morning everyone Wet and chilly here so nothing special planned, apart from a trip to Morrisons's again! We have two of those £15 off your shopping voucher deals to use up this week but they have to be used between today and Sunday! We'd collected the little vouchers for this over the last month, then D gave us hers as she's away this week visiting Mick's brothers! So we have to split the week's shop into two 'goes' to use them both Bit of a faff but to save £30 it's well worth it!

If it was sunny I think we'd wander out somewhere to enjoy the sunshine, but it's not, so I suppose it will be a day indoors Mick is off to Edinburgh tomorrow just overnight on business until Wednesday, so I will be home alone with the pups - will have to walk them one at a time as I'm not strong enough for both, so that will be interesting

Good morning all, it's a wet one here!
Just a bit of housework to be done here - hoovering and a small pile of ironing - and that's it! There's a chicken waiting to go in the oven and I'll make some potato wedges and coleslaw to go with it.
