D'ya want to know what I'm doing right this minute....

Postby debih » 24 Aug 2014, 18:19

CHRISTMAS SHOPPING. Oh yes. CHRISTMAS SHOPPING. On eBay.

I have already bought the girls a glass bottle of coke with their names on (for stockings) and an currently bidding on two iPad 2's.

After buying iPhones from eBay (3 now) and all working perfectly well, I decided to go for iPads from them. But have been picky at making sure they are boxed.

I am currently winning on both bids. Fingers crossed.

Debbie, I don't know how much the iPads are going for on Ebay but I've bought Apple items from Amazon with big reductions on them. The Air that Tom had for his birthday this year was around £80 less than anywhere else.

That's annoying :x

Joe's said he wants a new iPod for Christmas, a blue one, and the 32GB one is just under £164 on Amazon at the moment but he's got a habit of changing his mind so I'm wary of buying it too early. I could do with a new one but wouldn't want a blue one, should I order it and he changed his mind

I knew it was Debih, and I knew it would be something outlandish, yet still I clicked.

Lol.

And I got two iPads. :). Both iPad 2's, 16 mb, both boxed. One black, one White. Exactly what I wanted.

One was auction - £182.50 plus £6 postage and one buy now £175 plus £10 postage.

I will now be very nervous until the arrive and I have them working!

They won't change their minds. They are desperate for tv's in their bedrooms - have been for years. We don't want them to have them, mainly because running the cables through from L's room will be a nightmare so the iPads are a compromise. They know they are probably getting them. L has already been looking at cases.

I've bought them a bit early really but thought that I had up the money now and may as well get them before the prices go up nearer Xmas!!!

LOL Saundra

I'm really going to have to press Joe and tell him that any decision he makes is final while the prices are still low

This is what he's like though. He came back from MIL's yesterday with a big wedge of money, his pocket money from her since he'd last seen her at Easter. He put £20 down in the kitchen by my purse and asked me to order him a new XBox mic. I told him I would if he sent me a link. A few hours later he asked if I'd ordered it, I said no because he hadn't sent me a link to it. "Oh good," he said "I've changed my mind, I don't want one now".

Here's the link Saundra. Ally gave it me.

Mine came really quickly but I've not seen them yet. They arrived at my mums on Friday and I've not been round yet to collect them.
