Twitter - a warning, just in case

I'm registered on twitter but barely use it.
A while ago several of us all contacted each other via here, so we're all connected.
Today I had an email from twitter saying Jo had mentioned me in a tweet. The link didn't work, so I went in separately and saw that she hadn't mentioned me.
But the email also had a link, in blue, to I don't know what, because I don't click on unknown links
Although I don't use it much, I've been registered for about 3 years, and this is the first time I've had anything even slightly iffy, so I'm not worried particularly. But for those of us who know each other - just be a bit wary
