There's an ad for Freeview and the tune is Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell - You're all I need to get by.

I am word perfect.... if somewhat out of tune. Well, very out of tune!   It's why people prefer it when I mime. :P :P :P

I'm good at miming, and definitely much better than singing :D
But there was a thing on fb last week or so, saying Just because I can't sing, doesn't mean I won't - I'm with that, at least in private ;) :D

I'm vocally perfect on the theme music for Midsomer Murders, and also Wycliffe. I can also do the interlude music in Midsomer which they usually play when someone's on the move driving a milk cart down the village street.

"De-de-de-de-de
De-doodly-doodly deee
De-de-DE-DE-DE
De-doodly-woodly-woooooo"

Mrs O and Master O have both indicated they'd much prefer it if I just mimed ......

Am currently working on the Murdoch Mysteries theme and Inspector Montelbano, but haven't quite mastered the screechy bits in the latter yet ...

When I was in school there was a choir exam every year, and the nun who taught us told myself and one of my friends to mime!!

Ossie, you are supposed to be quiet when you mime.... that's the whole point. You mouth the words, but no sound comes out.

If you are screeching and squealing, that's not miming.... it's just bloody annoying.

I tend to be good at the latter. ;) :P :P

I'm pretty good at miming, but only when it comes to swearwords.

But I can't mime singing, as I love singing too much, and the sounds just come out.
