We is here

Postby debih » 09 Aug 2014, 13:30

We arrived in sunny Cornwall about an hour ago. The cottage is as lovely as I remember - it has loads of her stuff in this time. She's only let it to us this summer so I told her not to bother moving stuff out - just as long as we had somewhere to put outr clothes and our food were fine.

Set off at 5.30 - were all knackered. The girls haven't even mentioned going to the beach yet - they're just zombied out watching tv.

First stop tomorrow will be shopping for new body boards and a new shortie wetsuit for L. She's grown since she last wore it 6 weeks ago!

The forecast is mixed. Tomorrow, after the storm is forecast to be better than Monday and Tuesday.

We have just been and bought a new short wetsuit for L and a beady board for each of them - we are staying directly behind the surf shop.

I am £70 lighter now so I just hope they get plenty of use out of them!

It is still n plaster. She has a big blue rubber glove thing to wear over it. It keeps it dry in the bath and shower so I am hopeful all will be fine. She looks a plonker though.

We go back to hospital to have it looked at two days after we get back from Cornwall.
