Something good in the News, I always look forward to the Perseids
Best days for the annual meteor shower Saturday to Wednesday, so even if we do get the horrible weather on Sunday plenty of opportunities

If the weather holds and the sky stays clear I might take a trip out to the moors above Menston, only a few miles away, and see what can be seen.

Gosh that would be amazing if it is clear.... I assume not a lot of light pollution there?

Menston is N. West of Leeds and the Perseids come in from the N. East and there is not much in the way of urban lighting in the direction of the North York Moors so, if the sky stays clear, who knows?
