this is the black chilli I have in the greenhouse: http://www.sowchillies.co.uk/chilli-see ... lli-seeds/

I've got two other chilli plants, one is called Apache (http://www.sowchillies.co.uk/chilli-see ... seeds-agm/) and the other I've lost the label so can't remember what it's called or if it's meant to stay green or also turn red - oops

Thanks Ria xx

We have a lot of chilli plants - just not a clue what they're called, apart from the Angolan ones. Red, orange, yellow, small rounded ones and then we have the small green/red ones - now they are hot

Wasn't sure if we could eat them black or not, but will give them a go

Grumpy saves the seeds and we use them for next year. I'll let him have a look at those web-sites.

Thanks again xx

Just had a look at the sites and although ours are similar, our chillies stand up, not hang down.

Must be the weather

Ton, have a look here and see if you can find something similar to yours: http://www.chillisgalore.co.uk/pages/ch ... eties.html

I did the same as you Kaz (ie that tongue tip test) with a black chilli (with the seeds still in) and it was hot. I used one last night to cook with and removed the seeds and it really wasn't spicy at all
