Good day tomorrow

Postby Rodo » 04 Aug 2014, 15:51

My granddaughter is coming up from Canterbury on the coach tomorrow. She is staying for a week and I am really looking forward to it. I haven't seen her for two years!

:D :D :D

Oh wow - that is lovely. And glad that you are close enough that she wants to come visit; I was never that close to my grand parents.

Yes, we get on really well. I just feel sorry that I missed so much of her growing up with them being so far away. I never actually had any grandparents myself.

She is 23 now so wanting adult things of course, and not very interested in museums and things! I found that there is a vintage fair on the Sunday with clothes and lots of other things and that looks just the ticket. We have booked two meals out and she and I will have a girly shopping day out of course. (Probably more for my benefit than hers!) Apart from that we will just take it as it comes.
