Off to the hossie for some preliminary eye tests this morning, don't think I'll see the consultant today but the tests are a start B is coming with me in case they use drops and I can't see properly afterwards If they do we'll come straight home afterwards, if not we'll walk on into town

I am so tired - I was out both Wednesday night and last night and I really should know by now that I no longer can do two late nights in a row that involve eating and drinking (too much of both). Roll on the end of the day so I can go home

They start off quite promising, with a lovely fresh-feeling breeze, but that disappears and as the day goes on it gets hotterer and hotterer

Bb's not working till after lunch so we're going to do the bits in the front garden before the sun gets on it.

Good morning all, another hot and sunny one here and we don't seem to have the luxury of the breeze that we had yesterday.

Had a lovely walk with Billy, I've just done some ironing, water the plants and tidied the kitchen. Going to get a shower now and then look up the bus times. I have a hair appointment at noon and there's no way I'm walking that far in this heat - and there's a long hill to walk up on the way - so I need to look at the online timetables as it's two buses there and then two back. Can't wait to get it cut though, I usually leave 4 weeks at the most between cuts and it's been 5 weeks since I last went. I need to cut John's hair tonight too.

Not sure what Tom's doing today, whether he'll be out at M's or if she's coming here. She only went home late last night anyway after arriving on Wednesday morning so I suspect he might go to her house.
