Well, it doesn't look very pug like and it doesn't look very happy but at least it looks like a dog!! I'm going to try and neaten the edges of the icing up - although they look rougher in the photo than the do in real life! I don't want to mess with it too much in case I make it look worse than it already is!!

Its a Victoria sponge cake sandwiched together with jam. I made the cake yesterday afternoon and have just iced it. It's only a small cake - I get sick of birthday cakes hanging around for ages so decided to go small this time. Last years cake was enormous as it was that 7 tiered rainbow cake!

It's brill Debih and definitely a dog :D
That icing doesn't take to being messed about with much so go easy, but a sharp knife/razor blade around the edges should be fine (Probably too late now anyway!) No-one else will think it's untidy ;)
