Morning everyone

Hot :D

And we're off to the mountains to work   Should only be for a couple of hours, hence going early ;)

Back for a shower - probably a cold one

Lazy afternoon and bbq later.

Hope the sun shines for you and you all have a good day xx

Morning Ton, morning all :)
Clear blue sky and sunshine here, going to be hot, hot hot :D

I shall be doing a bit of this, a smaller bit of that, and quite a lot of nothing at all :D

And wren-watching :)
Mr & Mrs Wren were trying to persuade their kids out yesterday, hopping about on the wall with tidbits of food, calling in increasing agitation - no dice. We didn't even see so much as a baby beak peeping out :D
Lots more conversations were imagined :D

'Look Jen (sorry Jen but that's her name!), I love them too but enough's enough, they're over a week old now and there's just not enough room for all of us any more' :D
'I'm working dawn to way after dusk and so are you, and still they reckon they're starving - well, it's time they got out into the big wide world and saw for themselves how hard it is. Those insects don't grow on trees you know' :D

Hope you all have a good day
Di

Good morning. :D

I left early for my run to avoid the heat and was back home for 8 o'clock!

A swim then I'm having cheesy scrambled eggs for breakfast. :D

Off to Carre Four later for a bit of spending.

Blub fest on TV tonight - Long Lost Family.

Have a good day everyone.

Gooood Morning!!

Ally, Ton, enjoy your sunshine :)

Di the wrens sound so cute - such good language skills too! ;) :D 8-)

Well I had an extremely lazy evening - I'd made a chicken salad for late lunch/early dinner, we'd enjoyed that, then I came upstairs with a few clean clothes and stuff that needed putting away, looked at the bed and thought "That looks comfy. I'll just have a rest for a bit, on top of the covers........" Well an hour later Mick wandered up to see where I was, found me vegging out, bought me up a cuppa, and there I stayed - sometimes watching tv, mostly not, for the rest of the evening! And I slept like a top last night as well so must have needed it :? ;) :D

Not sure yet of my plans for today, I have a parcel that needs posting so might go to town with that later, the walk into town would be nice.......

Have a good day everyone :)

morning all - what a weekend; busy busy busy but good fun

Di - those wrens sound adorable. All I've got to make lots of noise is a huge group of juvenile starlings; and goodness me can they make a racket when they're bickering over food  The other birds are so much more civilised.

Usual work day for me today again - I'd LOVE to have the day off and be at home but hey.... someone has to work to put food on the table / into the bowls and I don't see the cats volunteering ;)

Have a lovely day all

Morning all. Gorgeous day here.

We are off to the fracture clinic. Again! L tried out the big blue glove at the weekend, in the bath. She had already tried it in the shower and it was fine. Whilst in the bath she commented that her hand was sweaty but we assumed it was down to the steam from the bath and the rubberiness of the glove. Her plaster was wet when she got out and thats when we found the tiny little hole! I can't see that she has made the hole and I think in the shower it would have been fine as it wasn't submerged.

I emailed the company that we bought it from telling them what happened (though I said this was the first time we used it, rather than the second) and asking for a replacement. And this morning I rang the plaster room - the arm part of the plaster is fine but the bit on her palm and around her thumb has gone soft. I have a feeling that we will be seeing a lot of the plaster room!

I'm cooking dinner for my dad later. My mum is off out with her ladies group from 1pm to 7pm and doesn't like to leave him on his own for that long. My sister was going to come round but she has to work so mum wasn't going to go. Instead I have arranged for the girls to go straight to their house after school and I will cook dinner. Then I can drop them off at their panto rehearsal - I'll be glad when the damned thing is over and done with now.

morning everyone
went to the doctor today, and now have antibiotics. Hopefully they knock this on its head.
Kids spent all day at their nana and poppa's, I picked hubby up from the train and we went over for dinner and picked them up. They are now sound asleep upstairs

I took advantage today of some child free time and made some soap. Haven't done that in almost 6 years!! can't wait for it to cure so that we can use it.

SIL wants to go to the muesum tomorrow, not sure if i have the energy.
Everything happens for a reason

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny here at the moment, fingers crossed it stays dry as we're off into town later this morning.

Ed has an eye test at 12.30 and I need to pick up my old Nokia. Finally got around to getting it unlocked to use when we go away. Left if too late for Barbados so had to buy a cheap burner which promptly conked out about two weeks into the holiday. Not that we have anything booked right now, but I'm sure once we get the move sorted it'll be top of the agenda  Also need to pick up more sun cream from Boots, I tend to buy it in bulk while it's on offer as we go through tons of it when we go away, more important than ever these days.

Hope you all have a good day :D

And we're back :D

Hot, sticky and just about to head into the shower

The toy boy arrived whilst we were having breakfast and was much more chatty  than normal. I was almost bursting to say something, but thought better of it ;)

Won't be doing a lot for the rest of the day, my sciatica is agony
