Playing badminton at 8am this morning.

I'd already said I'd stand in for someone - then Hector rang last night to say the air con has conked out and can we come in early before the sports hall becomes a sauna.

So I'll be a drippy Dora at the end then.

A swim when I get home then into town for a few bits and bobs.

Masterchef tonight.

Loads of stuff here that needs doing, but not sure I CBA, think it might be a day for sitting down by the water in the Docks and watching the boats Quiet here without Becks, the dogs keep looking for her

Good morning all.

Hope you are all OK.

We have an important meeting at our Lodge this morning, when bosses from the builders
and from the Lodge managing company are coming to sort out some of our problems.
Many of the residents here are not capable of speaking up, and look to the more vocal of
us to air their views, so it looks like I will will be taking the floor quite a lot. Wish me luck!

Hopefully the weather will be right for a good walk this afternoon, otherwise we will be
watching tennis again - it's getting quite special now, isn't it?

Good afternoon all! It's dull, grey and much cooler than yesterday here.

I went to the gym this morning, walked Billy and then mowed the lawns. I might make some cookies in a bit. Tom's staying over at M's tonight so it'll just be the three of us in tonight, not sure whether he and M will come back here at some point tomorrow or stay at her house, there's no school tomorrow as it's a training day.

Ally, I feel your pain! The gym has a/c but it's worse than useless! The temperature at 8am is around the 26-28C mark. Last week one of the instructors and myself were getting all nostalgic for our old gym before the leisure centre was refurbed. We used to call it the bunker, it was a tiny room in the basement with no a/c and no windows or outside doors BUT there were quite a few industrial sized fans in there which you could just move and position to by where you were working out. In the new gym there are windows all of the way around so it's like a greenhouse when the sun's shining and we can't use the fans anymore. I have a little usb fan that plugs into the treadmill. It's not brilliant but it's better than nothing.

Well that is my girl finished school for the summer hols, Scotland always finish earlier than England my nephew also finished primary school and goes to secondary after the hols

Nice and sunny here, we are chilling watching a dvd now and got my pj's on, got a bit of a crampy tummy so nice to do nothing!
