The venue for our Meets.

There is no doubt in my mind that it would be hard to find a better venue for our Meet than the present one.

It has a remarkable, almost classical, decor, that makes it something special. Perhaps I am over-sensitive about
this. What does anyone else think? This photo I took on Tuesday may strike a chord.....

I think it's a bit of everything Aggers.

There is no doubt it is a stunning building with a great and interesting history.

But for me it will always be special because of the meet. :D

Even when I've gone in there since, with other friends, I find myself looking up at the balcony and smiling at the lovely memories it holds. :D

It's a lovely building inside and out isn't it Aggers. People are quick to run down Birmingham as being a concrete jungle but we really do have some lovely architecture in the city centre.

It is a splendid place - in fact I was very impressed with Birmingham full stop :) The wander we had in the city centre on Wednesday lunchtime was very pleasant indeed :)
