And all done without the help of Poirot or Miss Marple.

For 4 consecutive days in this house there was a continuous supply of cake, biscuits, bread, orange juice and cereal.

What??!!

No going to the fridge and finding it half empty!!

Ditto the biscuit tin!!

By jove..even the orange juice lasted more than 5 minutes!

And what was the reason for our fridge staying full and our food cupboards not resembling like a plague of locusts had just been a calling?

Jacob was away for 4 days!!

So the next time I ask who has been scoffing..and get the usual, dunno, reply..I'll know who to blame. :)

No sh*t Sherlock!!

I had one like that Ally

Middle one - 6foot 5, skinny as a rake and eat us out of house and home - nothing was safe

Same for my daughter and her two teenage sons. They eat and eat and eat. She's given up on healthy foods for them, though she does do a slow cooker dinner most nights, and stocks up on starchy, sugary, carby foods so they can munch. They eat tubs of humuus, cherry tomatoes and breadsticks as a snack before dinner. They are both long and skinny although I have warned them all that food will catch up with them both one day

Middle 'un was a model  for a while, not that it made any difference to his eating

He's now 40 something and still as skinny as ever
