Hot and sunny again.

Going for my usual Sunday bike ride with Herman the German.

A swim and then more lazing by the pool - I'm in a reading phase and I've got plenty books to get through which is handy.

Jacob is cooking the evening meal for the 3 of us.

Morning all. Its a gorgeous day.

I've been busy, busy, busy. I've already been to the allotment for an hour and have been pottering in the polytunnel in the garden (having a little weep over my dead cucumber and one of my now dead tomato plants).

I'm off down to a friends (she only lives a few doors away) shortly to help her with her daughters birthday cake. She's wanting to make a Game of Thrones throne to go on top of her cake and was struggling with it yesterday so we are hoping that between us we can do something.

Need to pop out later to the tip to get rid of some bits and then I might call in at the garden centre to buy a new cucumber plant and have to go to my mums to collect my washing!

Sounds like you've all been up ages, we on the other hand have only just crawled out of bed Will be popping out for the papers as soon as E gets out of the shower and that's about it for us today, intend to be extreeeeemely lazy.

A lovely, sunny day after yesterdays cloud, cloud and drizzle

Have done all of the watering as Grumpy is suffering - he sneezed earlier on and pulled a muscle in his side and is in agony. So I've been running up and downstairs with coffee, water, deepheat, painkillers

No bbq later, but we do have the grand prix to look forward to

Just spoken to Don and it's sunny in Birmingham - he's delighted.
