Why oh why don't all retailers pay more attention to how their websites work?!
I've just spent faaaar too long on Homebase - all I wanted was blinds; the bathroom one has broken, and the two kitchen ones are old and manky.

I know the sizes - but you can't search by size
Then when you click on one, it doesn't show you the other sizes available

So I wasted ages trying to find cream in 2 sizes - no, the cream ones aren't all together, and when you filter by colour that doesn't work properly either
And after clicking on one, you hit the back button - and all your filters have gone so you have to start again

Easy to say 'go somewhere else' but we can get to homebase (too far for a wasted journey though) and they have 15% off this weekend so I really did want to reserve them.
Finally done but blimey, what a palaver!
I've ended up with a nice black venetian one for the bathroom, but 2 value whites for the kitchen lol, life's too short

I wanted a brown leather three seat sofa (or settee as we call 'em)

Brown....... cotton, curtains, paint.........

Brown+leather....... boots, gloves, jackets, shoes, trousers........

Brown+leather+three................................................................???

Brown+leather+three+seat........ garden furniture, patio set......

Brown+leather+three+seat+settee................................................???

Brown+leather+three+sofa.... Bingo! Here is our range of..... Chairs, Two seat sofas, Three piece suites, Three seat sofas - all mashed up on loads of different pages. Some were actually leather!

Went into a store:
"How may I help?"
"I would like to look at brown leather, three-seat settees: please."
"Certainly sir, come with me."
Simples.

I know, but it's over 12 miles from here to Homebase, and not a good route, especially on Bank holiday weekends.
The bathroom blind needs replacing asap, but if we went to homebase and they didn't have the right size, we'd then have another 5-6 mile trip to anywhere else - who may not have the size!
Reserving was the best option, given that none of them answer the phones any more

Before we went away I tried buying online, but wherever I found the one, they didn't have the other, and the 2 for the kitchen have to match really - hence I've ended up with white
We have them on the back door and the window, as the sun comes straight in there in the mornings so it stops Minnie from being awake too early

Glad you eventually got what you needed Di, but totally agreeing about the navigability (?) of some retail websites - the M&S one has been known to drive me potty
