Grumpy asked the other day - why is it that no-one falls out of bed at night? We move, shift, and whatever  but you never hear of any-one falling out of bed.

Until last night that is

Yup - was me   Cracked my head on the bedside cabinet, landed on my hip and ended up about 4 foot away from the bed.

How? Why? What on earth was I dreaming about?

Woke him up anyway

Did I get any sympathy' Well, what do you think

I had a great bed guard for Harry, part of it went under the mattress to hold into place, and it provided an arm that went halfway down the bed 8-) If it's still in the garage you can borrow it :P ;)

Not long after Grumpy and I had met, I was living in my flat, and had a single bed, which was pushed up against the wall.

One day, in a mad moment, I shifted the bed to out into the middle of the room, making it easier for for of us to get in (and we were a lot thinner in those days  ) Grumpy got up during the night, visited the bathroom, came back

His head touched one side of the bed and his feet the other

And no, he didn't get any sympathy either - i just laughed ;)

Elderly lady next door did just that, cracked her head on the corner of the cabinet and hurt her hip and leg. Managed to call me as she has one button for that on the phone so I woke up rapidly and rushed over as I have the key and helped her. Decided not to call ambulance as I could handle the situation, made sure nothing was broken and generally fixed things. Had to do her shopping for a while though.
