Morning Friday

Postby jenniren » 09 May 2014, 06:51

Morning all :D

Getting really fed up with these early mornings now

A lot of the inside is done, just the biggest job, the hall, staircase and landing left to do. Not sure what's happening today, if it stays dry I think they're going to start on getting the patio ready for repointing.

Still got a dry cough and icky throat so apart from popping down the road for fresh veggies don't intend to venture far today.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Morning all. It's lovely here.

Day at home - just about to take Millie out and then home to pack up L's bedroom ready for decorating.

Parking wars continues - both my neighbours are being awkward now (all due to mad woman). The old lady on the other side parks where she parks because that's where she always parks, irrespective that it's half on my space. It's never mattered before until the mad woman on the other side decided that she didn't want me even an inch on hers. I got home before both of them yesterday so got in my correct place but they've both parked so close to me I'll struggle to get out - but I know from experience if I knock on their doors to ask them to move neither of them will answer. I will get out but it'll be tight - fortunately I'm going nowhere today but I know that as soon as I move the old lady will move her car up making it impossible for me to get back in. Neither of them work - old lady is old, mad woman is a lazy arse - so I will pretty much always be last home. A couple of posts will be going in soon but Mick needs to do some digging out of the bank next to our parking as it'll be too tight a space - I need abit more leverage. Why the mad woman has started all this I don't know!

Morning all

Jen - hope you feel better soon and hope even more that the decorators will soon be done and life returns to normal again :D Wonder if the paint and decorating materials could be causing your cough and ickly throat?

Debih; your neighbours sound a nightmare. Could you ask the council to paint lines where the cars are parked to indicate the parking bays as they should be. And is there any reason why old lady parks the way she does? I really hope you get it sorted so you don't have this grief all the time :(

Usual day for me again - at work and then home for a relaxing evening; I love Friday nights at home :)

Have a fab day everyone x

Morning all :)

Debih that sounds a nightmare, hope you can get it sorted somehow :? xxx

Jen hope it is all finished soon xxx

Ria I am also looking forward to this evening, as Harry is coming for the weekend :D :D :D Hoping he likes the knock-off Chelsea top we bought him in Corfu town, last time we got him one with Drogba on just before he left the team

Busy day today, I need to give H's room an airing and make sure it is tidy, put his ironed clothes away etc, then I told B I would go into town with her while she drops her CV around. One job is in Waterstones, they need someone just for one full day - Saturday - I would be seriousy tempted myself with that one if it had been for a weekday ;) Oh and at some point I need to pot up my new plants and spray the front gravel with that weedspray I bought yesterday :)

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

Torrential rain in the night, well 6.30 this morning tbh, but has got out now - I'm off to meet my work pals for lunch, Jan and Karen, shortly. Got up late after a rude rain awakening, have watched that doc with Gary Barlow, mainly because everyone I have spoken to this week has gone on about it, even my boss....I'm not particularly a fan, but he seems a nice guy (GB that is....oh and my boss is as well ;) )

Hope you have a lovely weekend with H, Kaz! :D I bet you he's shot up! 8-) Good luck at Waterstones for B! :D

Have a great time at tango tonight Loz! :D

Afternoon all, it's bright and breezy here although clouding over a bit more now. Mr. Osc has cut the grass and done some other tidying up in the garden, while I made the bed and had my shower. Today I'm actually wearing jeans instead of leggings, was a bit wary in case the seams could press on sore places  but so far so good. I've got makeup on too, as I'm going on a big outing to Lidl   Miss Osc is bringing us and then we will go to a new Insomnia coffee shop that has opened locally. 11 days post-op and I seem to be doing ok although I get tired very easily. Hope the poorlies feel better soon. Have a good day everyone :)

Afternoon all, it's bright here but there's a cold, strong wind and the occasional shower. Had a lovely walk with Billy after the gym, the woods are so green and lush now. The foliage seems to have appeared almost over night. Hopefully it'll stay dry so that we can get out again before dinner.

Tonight I have to do the shopping, and there'll be some ironing to do once what's on the line has dried.

Osc - glad you're feeling better!

Kaz - good luck to B!

Debbie - that sounds awful. We had more than our fair share of nightmare neighbours and parking issues at our old house so I can sympathise xx

Evening - here

Really must try to appear in the morning :D :D

Decorating is always a nightmare but worth it in the end - just think positive and it will soon be over :) :)

Scary neighbours - been there in UK - not really an issue here, thank goodness, mine are all really lovely Turkish people. But from past experience no easy solution :(

Everyone else hope all had a good day :)

Take care
