Morning all :D

Up extra early as we're meeting eldest daughter with two of the children for brekkie. Afterwards we'll be spending an hour or so with mother, it's her birthday on Wednesday and the CH will do a cake for her then so we're doing her pressies today. She won't know the difference and it will be nicer for her to open them while M is here.

Not sure yet if they're coming back here for the afternoon so didn't bother getting extra supplies in, can always detour to M&S on the way home if necessary. Doubt E or I will want/need more food till a lot later today, expect we'll be truly stuffed after brekkie

Hope you all have a good day :D

Morning Jen, morning all :)
Another beautiful day here, albeit cold. Yesterday was lovely all day but that wind was sure nippy! :D

Enjoy your big brekkie Jen, I could just fancy one of those - but I do have sausages about to cook ;) :)
Those who are fed up with it will be pleased to see my ticker is almost done :D
When you haven't had a proper holiday for 5 years it does get a tad exciting ;) :D
Today will be silly-busy, still a zillion things to do, but we'll get there somehow.

Safe flight home Kaz, and a good day to all
Di

Good morning everybody.
It has rained during the night. The flags have dried but still grey skies.

Getting ready for our cruise. We drive down to Southampton on Wednesday and board the ship on Thursday morning.
We don't travel light. Three cases and two small trolleys, hand bag and maybe a small plastic bag for news-paper and other incidentals.

Afternoon all, dull and dreary here and not as warm as I would like. Had a good night's sleep, woke just after 6am and then went back for another 1½ hours. Had shower and dressed before brekkie, which just about used up my energy quotient for the morning anyway. Miss Osc popped in on her way into town with Michael, so it was nice to see them. I've read yesterday's paper at my leisure and am happy enough sitting here in the chair. Might manage a stroll this afternoon - or not - might have an hour in bed instead

Di, I'm so excited for you, have a wonderful holiday :D :D and also for Ton meeting up with you both - Ton, they are both lovely lovely people, and I'd be grateful if you would give each of them a big hug from me. Have a good day everyone :)

First chance I've had to come on - been so busy.

Up early for a trip to the tip. Couple of hours at the allotment then a trip to the garden centre. Called at Micks parents to pick up all the stuff from my old car that that I'd left in their garage.

Home to tidy up the decking, plant up the herbs I got from the garden centre and shoe horn all the stuff back in the car.

Then browsing eBay for sheds and beds. I too L to look at beds yesterday and she has opted for a white metal day bed. £199 at Bensons - I'm currently winning an almost identical one for £14.98. Doesn't finish til Wednesday though.

And were shed shopping - our old one is rotten and we want a smaller one so we can have a log store at the end of it.

Good afternoon, all.

Only just managed to say hello. Been so busy unpacking all the things we bought
at the many charity shops in Droitwich - mostly books, CDs and jigsaw puzzles plus
putting up a smashing new metallic wall decoration in our lounge. It's time for my
afternoon nap now.

See you later.
