Another scorchio.

Picking mum and dad up at 11 to bring them over here for the day - they fly at 10 tonight.

It's been superb having them here as usual but boy has that month flown in!

Paco's for some cheer me up cervezas after we've taken them to the airport.

We woke up to a very healthy bank balance.

Good morning everybody.

Dull with grey skies.

Our bank balance goes up and down. Have had to pay the road tax, MOT and service and two new tyres this week.
But I did get £35.00 interest on my current account for the month of April. Better rate than the building society account.

No more big bills till June when we will have to pay balance of another cruise, and house insurance.

We had that PPI payment go in this morning so we are a fair few thousand pounds up on where we were yesterday.

Need to start moving it around tomorrow into ISA's, premium bonds, etc. Just waiting to see what is happening with the car first.

We managed to sort all the wardrobes yesterday, 8 big bin bags full later and we were exhausted Some of it can go to the charity shop, the rest is off to the tip later today. Goodness knows what we'll find when we get around to tackling the loft, my mind boggles

Visiting mother this morning and afterwards doing a bit of running around, pay her papers, go to the bank and a quick detour to Tesco for some fresh/frozen bits.
