Yesterday I went into town, the shops were nice and quiet and I got a few bits for my holiday wardrobe

Morning Rodo, morning everyone

Well we are on the countdown to our holiday now - 4 more sleeps until we leave for the hotel at Gatwick, then we fly out very early on Sunday morning I need a few last minute bits and pieces so might go and get those today - I need the walk anyway as I haven't been out since Saturday

The weather is dreadful today, which is annoying as I have washing to dry that I would rather not tumble, but I'll play that by ear......

ETA Oooh Di that sounds fun, I have tons of stuff really so no excuses for me buying any more new holiday gear but I will be sorely tempted to have a look in Debenhams....... Oh except for a new hat, the Tu ones are useless this year

Off down to the village later, to pay the council tax and motorway toll - then maybe a pit stop for a people watch hour or so

Need to clear up the mess from yesterdays thunderstorms in the gardens first though

Oh and a tiny piece from my glasses frame fell off yesterday and I'm all lop-sided Going to try and stick it back on, if not, it's back to the opticians for a replacement frame - that very expensive 20 euros frame

Morning all. We had a massive storm last night - it was quite impressive. Its still grey and drizzly this morning.

I'm at work until around 2pm. Mick has the day off to take L to the dentist. She has to have a small filling but big enough now to warrant a small injection. She is so terrified that our regular dentist referred her to the clinic. Mick took her a couple of weeks ago and the dentist there explained to her what she was going to do and she had a go on the gas that they will be using to relax her. Her appointment is at 10.30 and they have given her two hours so that they aren't having to rush her if she is too nervous. She has been promised pizza out tonight once it is all done. I'm glad its Mick taking her and not me - I know he's dreading it as she gets so stressed about it.

So hopefully this evening is pizza out.

We're off to the cinema to see Spiderman later this morning, will probably stop somewhere for a late lunch/early dinner on the way back.

been raining here glad i got the washing dry yesterday
was going to cut the graa today if possible but its wet
need to ring housing and stuff today and get the ball rolling
lozz if my antibiotics did nothing else they stopped my cough
