Do you have a close look at photo's before you post them?

A "Facebook friend" just posted a photo of herself on a sofa. In the back ground is what appears to be a kitchen counter (so I suspect open plan kitchen / diner / lounge arrangment) that is strewn with all sorts of things. A loaf of bread, a bottle lying on it's side, silver foil take-away tubs, an empty milk bottle etc.....

Now I'm a rather untidy person at the best of times but I would never ever ever put a picture like that on a public forum. I'd be mortified

would you?

No I'm always fairly aware of the background in any photos I may take and wouldn't post ones showing an untidy background.

im the same, always try remember to check what is in the background! I don't mind having the odd thing 'lying about' but I have a good friend, who always posts photo's and her house is a pig sty - and i mean PIG STY!! It amazes me!!

As I was once a keen camera club member, I always look at the background before clicking the camera.

Likewise I always look at the background on other people's photos, and it's amazing what you can see sometimes.

I remember once seeing one, of some friends on a hotel balcony and, there in the background, hanging out to dry just
behind my friend's wife, was a pair of fancy knickers. I presume they were hers but, I hasten to add, I can't be sure.

I had a friend who was a keen amateur photographer. I couldn't get into it, but he did make me aware of the classic mistakes: people with boats 'sailing; through their ears; lamp-posts/trees/electricity pylons growing out of shoulders; boobs in all their splendour as gran bent to kiss baby..... that sort of thing.

I do tend to have a good look in the background before I post anything!

The children have threatened to get me on "The Hoarder"
I am afraid I am me. No empty food containers or tin foil etc but everywhere every space CLUTTERED.

But Kate, but there is a difference between clutter and mess; the things in the background of this photo are just a mess that should have been in the bin ;)

Clutter is fine(ish)
