Peaches Geldof`s funeral.

I have just read that Peaches Geldof`s funeral will take place on
Easter Monday at our local church (just at the end of my road)
I expect people will turn up to have a nose at the celebrities who are
sure to attend.
As it is a holiday there will be more of a crowd than there was for
her mother`s funeral and that was big enough.
I went past The Priory just now (the family home in Kent) and the large
gates were covered in flowers left by local people who watched her grow up
and play with the neighbours` children :(

It really is so, so sad. :(

I think that's the day of her eldest's second birthday. :(

I haven't seen much in the way of news this week, but was a cause of death ever established?

A sad day for the family :(

The inquest was inconclusive. They released the body but sent for toxicology reports, haven't heard anything else.

There are bound to be lots of people. I suppose some will be celeb-spotting but also I think people want to show some sort of sympathy/solidarity for the family too.

I do question the wisdom of having the funeral on the child's birthday, as from now on that will always be a sad day for them, when birthday should be happy :? :?

My mum dying on Christmas Day means it will never be quite the same again for our famiy.......

I saw Bob Geldof yesterday doing some shopping in the town.
He was with his adopted daughter Tiger.
She is a pretty, tiny little thing and looks like her father
Michael Hutchence :)
Bob Geldof says he loves it here as no one bothers him and
people are so friendly.
I was sitting in my car as he went by and he smiled and
acknowledged me :)
They both looked so sad :(

That is so sad Lissie. It much be nice for him that no one bothers him. I remember Osc saying that Bono and his family live near her and they are just used to seeing them so no one takes any notice, which is how it should be

Very sad time for Bob and the family and Monday will be so hard for them :( It's so good that they can live a normal life in Kent if they want to - I think some celebs crave the publicity but Bob has managed to keep his daughters out of the limelight.

Bono doesn't actually live near me, Shell, it's Larry Mullen who does, but his children go to a local school and they seem to keep themselves to themselves. Mind you, when Larry had a big building job done on his house a couple of years back, the builders had to take a vow of silence and he was very very picky! Bono lives on the south side of Dublin in a place called Dalkey, and he can live a normal life too, the children go to local schools and the family is often seen shopping locally.
