Another gorgeous one here and forecast to be over 30 degrees again.
I'm glad I wore my sun hat on the boat yesterday.

We were at the processions till 1am this morning so after my run I'm having a day lazily reading, knitting and catching up with 5 episodes of Masterchef!

Usual Friday night beers and tapas tonight.

We might be painting the shed today (well you know the stain/protector stuff) and various other gardening bits and pieces.
I managed lots and lots of paperwork/office type jobs yesterday (including holiday insurance bought!) so can have a day off from boring today

Morning all. Lovely and sunny here as well, but a rather nippy wind... bbbrrrrrrrr Just as well the front garden is sorted; today's job is tidying the greenhouse which in the winter months usually becomes a dumping ground - nice and sheltered in there

Meriad I'd rather be in a greenhouse too, I used to love mine We've decided it's really too cold and windy for shed-painting today.
I did of course know it's Easter weekend, but as for once we've no real plans and no crowd to feed, and being so busy with the car/holiday etc., it had sort of passed me by
So it has dawned on us we probably need some shopping/supplies - on normal Sundays I often pop out and get whatever we fancy to eat

We don't have any hot cross buns (obviously!) but as luck would have it there was half of my rather scrummy hot cross loaf in the freezer, so I've just had a slice of that, toasted

Edited - the hot cross loaf is definitely scrummy - not crummy

Had a text from a friend at 9.00 and she came round for coffee and a chat, garden watered, me fed, now going to have a bit of a tidy up - just in case

Bright and sunny here at the moment, it got quite overcast yesterday as the day went on, hope the sunshine stays around a bit longer today.

Mother was in a happy mood yesterday, she has absolutely no recollection of the hospital thank goodness. She had no idea Easter was looming either but was delighted with the cuddly bunny we bought her. The CH manager has a pile of Cadbury's button eggs ready to hand out on Sunday and they have a special dinner planned so I'm sure on the day at least she'll know what's happening and have a lovely time. Afterwards we called in on my aunt and uncle and had a nice coffee session.

No plans for us today, we popped out for the papers earlier and that's about it.
