Really sad to hear today that she's died, aged 68 :(

She gave me many, many happy reading hours over the years...well, she and Moley did, he's just a year or two older than me, and I can't see a swan now without thinking of Gielgud

Oh I loved Moley :) :) I was already a married woman with a child when the books came out, but could still appreciate the teenage angst and the sly digs at the politics of the time.............I also very much enjoyed the follow up books that tracked Moley into early middle age  :D :D

Sue had had awful health, going blind and having a kidney transplant, so I hope she rests in peace now :) xxx

The poor lady certainly did suffer ill health didn't she...they said on the news this morning that she'd continued to write by dictating her books to her son.

Yes she'd had a hard time hadn't she, it's a good few years since she admitted she was registered blind.
Very sad, a lovely lady.
