Question for those who bought one of the tablets

Postby meriad » 10 Apr 2014, 11:03

has anyone managed to download anything using BBC iPlayer? I've downloaded the iPlayer app, but mine just doesn't give a download option so I can save programmes to watch when on the train for example?

Any clue?

Well, Ria, the BBC site is very helpful: NOT.

It looks as though our tablets are not supported for downloads, but can view programmes if the BBC Media Player app is installed.

I'll have a dig about and see if there is a workaround....... I could be a while!

thanks Frank :D I thought it may be that our Tablets aren't supported but then the BBC website said Android software 4.0 or higher was... and ours apparently is 4.2.2 ?

thanks!!!!

We do have 4.2.2 but it is also the tech spec and the BBC has not checked all of them out as yet (according to the Guardian) I'll keep looking as and when I can.
