Morning all is lovely here.

I'm off to head office today for training on data inputting. We are really busy with housing needs surveys and they asked me to help input. I'm happy to do it - can't really say no what they didn't tell me was that they wanted me to go to head office two or three times a month. It seems ridiculous this is a one hour drive each way and I only work at five hour day. I don't know why I can't do it at my own office five minutes away but when I mentioned it they just came up with some silly excuse. It's just adding to my downward spiral of misery at the moment.

Oh well. Bokwa tonight.

Morning everyone :)

Loz I hope lip reading goes well now you are in the Big Class 8-) :D xx

(((Debih))) xx

Morning Saundra :) xx

It's sunny here too - the shelving Mick ordered for the garage has finally arrived - it was due last Thursday - so as he also has this week off apart from tomorrow (a meeting he needs to be at) he'll be busy with those today. I'll be cleaning, maybe doing a bit more weeding - I did some yesterday - and then out for a walk later.

Safe journey home today Jen, and thinking of Shell today........have a good day everyone :) xxx

Morning :)
We have sunshine too :D
Had a nice day yesterday, got a couple of trays of pretty violas from the farm shop so now have 2 pots of Springtime :)
Bb cut the grass after a bit of prodding, it doesn't look all that good but better than it was :D
I did a bit too much but recovered to cook a yummy dinner, then we watched One Day - Bb hadn't read the book so I was very careful not to give him any clues :) I hadn't been sure if I wanted to see it but enjoyed it.

Hope all goes well with Mm

Morning all :D

Thinking of shell today, hope all goes well.

We had a fabulous day yesterday, great fun :D Just about to tackle all the packing, must get a wiggle on so we have time for a lovely lunch........want one last bask in this lovely sunshine.

Much as we're quite sad to be leaving think we both feel it's time to get back to 'real' life although I'm not sure it would take too much persuasion to get us to stay  Youngest daughter has already said they'll be coming to visit for Mother's Day so not too long to wait to see all the children. Mind you if it's raining when we come into land we'll be wishing the pilot could turn round and come back here

We're due to land at Gatwick around 6.30 tomorrow morning and should be home sometime around mid morning.

Hope you're all having a good day :D

jen x

Good afternoon all, it's a lovely sunny day and quite warm in the sun :D

The gym's done, Billy's had his first walk of the day and it was so nice to be out in the sunshine that we walked and walked and I lost track of the time (again)
Got lots to do and no motivation.

Thinking of Shell today xx

Safe journey Jen!

Evening all! It was a glorious Spring day here today, now that the mornings are brighter I'm waking earlier. After a tiring week, today I feel normal again having felt sooooooo sluggish and headachey yesterday. I had a gorgeous walk on the pier, and my project for the day was to sort through a large boxful of photos, getting rid of lots and saving very few - my aim was to reduce all our photos not in albums to just one box and I succeeded in doing that. We also had a big box of theatre/concert programmes, all of which I've thrown out.........getting really good at this decluttering lark  There were three boxes of stuff - getting rid of the programmes gave me an empty box, so I amalgamated the various small boxes and bags of cards and letters mostly from Miss Osc which I have saved over the years into the empty box- I won't be getting rid of them. The great thing about having to keep the house tidy now is that when a job is started, it has to be finished, there is something very satisfactory in that too.

I was actually quite impressed that the main "stuff" we have accumulated over our almost 42 year marriage didn't come to much more than three boxes and a few plastic bags, obviously not the hoarder I thought I was
