The only sale I ever really bother with is the Boots 70% one and that never happens until mid to late January...

I have been trying to buy some Christmas cards on line but they are mostly all sold out. Only rubbish ones left.
I made a few purchases in the last couple of days, some bedding, a griddle pan, some water filters and some jumpers. All at very good prices and with free delivery.

I
never go shopping on Boxing Day. If I can't have at least 2 days out of the year that are not like all the others I don't see any point to all the Christmas build up. So no shopping here

I have a friend who gets up at stupid o'clock to go to the Next sale (actually I have two who do that but one works there so doesn't have much choice
).
I did a weekly shop at the weekend, plus a few extras, so we have plenty in the house to keep us going so that I don't need to go anywhere near the town centre for several days yet

You wouldn't catch me anywhere near any shops for the rest of this week at least. But the internet though..............now that's a different kettle of fish altogether.

I agree with Loz and I feel for the staff that have to work. I would love everyone to boycott the shops on Boxing Day so that maybe next year the greedy management would think again and people would get a decent break for Christmas.
Sorry off my soapbox now

I watched Sky news this morning and the hordes of people streaming into the big stores.
Like they hadn't bought enough before the actual big day.
Jeeeez
