I've used Living Social for a few things (never actually bought anything physical from it - just vouchers for entry into places) and have always found them really good. These reviews seem to be for the American site as people mention how many dollars they paid.
I do hope your tablets turn up soon - I'm sure they will. It'll just be taking them ages to get to you. I ordered some little rolls of tape from Amazon (something to do with nail art) and they were coming from China - it was only a small little package and it took about 5 weeks to arrive.

No it was through kgb deals, a firm called Jayoeh based in Cardiff
I think it will be fine, stuff from China always seems to take ages

BBC Watchdog has done a piece on kgbdeals and LivingSocial and not found any illegal actions, though it did find problems with some deliveries. That is a bit of a load off.
I wonder if their traders use a thing called something like "groupage"(?), I suspect that they do as the advert when I ordered said 336 sold - 164 to buy. My ex used to be a clerk for a small time electricals importer and he would use it. The scheme allows for space to be taken in shipping containers so that multiple users can fill one up, but it is a bit hit and miss. If your load is first on you have to wait for the container to fill up, but if you are one of the last the doors can be shut as the fork lift pulls away and off you go.
I'll give it time yet.

they did say to allow 14 days for delivery and that delivery would be the week commencing the 17th of Feb... so if ours only left for delivery on the 21s of Feb then realistically it can be as long as Thursday next week until we get them - working on those 14 days being working days
