Shall I casually mention to the landlady there will be another VV convention in June thus giving her:

a) Time to make sure the bar is fully stocked or

b) Time to leave the country.

If she is wise she will do both!

actually I think it would be a good idea to mention it to her. It may also be wise to reserve a table that we can then hold on to - and not make way for another party like we did last time . We'll leave choice of best table to you Ally

Yes I'd definitely mention it, as in, a big party came from all over the country and abroad, and enjoyed it so much that out of countless possibilities have all decided they'd rather return to the same place

A mention of "mates rates" on the wine wouldn't go amiss either!

When I booked our tables on the balcony for the meet last year the landlady did mention that we'd have to move about 4 o'clock to other tables - but we really didn't mind.

But I'll tell her that it's the same group of people..plus more - and see if we can have the executive suite for all day.
