We totally gutted two rooms and have been living in hell for about 3 weeks! We had building work done and full decorating. I gave away all our dark wood furniture to the charity shop and have gone for a lighter look. We also had dark wood panelling on the dining room walls and had that all ripped off too.

Yesterday we had the two main rooms and two small halls carpeted and today the new light oak dresser unit and coffee table will be arriving. We have also replaced the hall table and some smaller side tables in light oak as well.

It is almost finished now apart from we need a rug and one or two ornaments/clock kind of things. It will see us out now.

I will post a couple of pics when it is all finished.
