Tis right nice here after a gorgeous sunrise.

Going into Malaga this morning for a long walk along the coast..Nelly's in Germany until tomorrow so no Frenglish.

Morning all. Cold but dry here

S is off school. They rang me yesterday to say she had been sick. She was very pasty when I picked her up but was fine a couple of hours later and was only sick the once. But because it was at school, school won't let her back for 48 hours so although she's perfectly ok to go back today it'll be Thursday before she's allowed - which means she will miss the yr 9 assembly and all the handouts tomorrow. She'll spend half the day on Thursday running around trying to get hold of the handouts.

Work for me today then school for a meeting with a new governor. I have no enthusiasm for the governor stuff and am counting down. I haven't told the head yet - I have decided to leave it til nearer the time so less chance for her to try to talk me round. I will be telling the other governors at the June meeting so will tell her just before. Only 6 more months of it.

Water pressure down again - good job I now have showers in the afternoon - Gtumpy is hoping they turn it up a bit soon, as we're heading off about 9.30

Morning everyone Well the threatened cold didn't materialise for either Mick or myself! Rather strange but I'm not complaining It's a lovely bright day, the dogs had their walk without getting wet for a change, so my floors are undamaged Still mulling over that steam mop

Debih I think you are being very wise about the governor stuff - hope S is fully recovered soon xxx

Good morning everyone.

It's lovely here at the moment.

I am accompanying Mrs A to the Pain Clinic at the local NHS Hospital this morning
to where she has been referred by her doctor, to see if they can do anything about
the severe pain in her foot. It seems likely that the trouble was caused by the
chemotherapy she had several years ago. The more she walks, the more it hurts -
but not when actually walking but when she stops walking ! Here's hoping.

Morning all quite a nice sunny morning in London; we've had a few of those actually which has been nice

Gosh Debih, the school where my niece and nephew go only have a 24 hour 'ban' on kids that have been ill - 48 hours is a lot. What about working parents - do they really have to then take 2 days off? But hope S feels better soon
