Flippin heck!!
Started ok enough with a quick run and after showering etc, jumped on the bus for a mooch in Malaga.
I walked right along the coast on the east side, stopped for a cafe con leche and walked back. A lovely 10km walk stopping, as I do, to take some photos.
Just as I got to the bus station Don rang..he'd played badminton as normal, showered etc, and asked if I fancied meeting him in Malaga.
As it was only noon I agreed (I have work at 4.30) to meet him at the bus station.
We met and walked up to Calle Nueva which is a lovely road set off the plaza and has some great shops.
I hate shopping but sometimes (and this was a sometime ) I don't mind.
We found this great little shop that sold some quirky clothes - I bought a pair of lime green shorts (Kaz will get this ) a spotty dotty t-shirt and some 1960's earrings a la Dusty Springfield.
Next stop was a little cafe for a bit of lunch.
Back to the bus station and just as we got there it was a scene of ambulances and police. (We'd heard the sirens as we were eating and had actually remarked how close they'd sounded )
You don't like to gawp at anything like this but we did see 2 bodies lying on the road being attended to.
Praying they are ok.
Got back to our town and I went straight to work - only to find my boss had had a slight prang in her car with another car and had bumped her head.
Apart from being slightly shaken she was ok.
All went ok after that until my third class whereupon 6 year Jose decided 6 year old Antonio had cheated earlier on in the day in the school playground which resulted in Jose deciding to knock 7 bells out of Antonio.
Cue me preventing world war 3 the way they were going!
Jeez lads..it was only a game of footy!
So I finished work at 8.30.
Was it any wonder I had a couple of very large vodka's at Paco's vodka emporium??!!
It's 11.30....I'm off to bed!!!!
