"Paul" is going through the change

Postby debih » 22 Dec 2012, 13:05

I have been to my friends house this morning and have been admiring her new Kenwood Titanium Chef.

So I have decided that the Artisan Kitchen Aid - aka Paul (Hollywood - to go with James Martin the new blue range) is having a change and is now going to be one of these.

He comes with a blender and a food processor attachment and there are lots of different attachments to buy. It is about the same price - well more, if you buy from certain stores, but I have spotted one on Amazon for £380. I currently have £220 saved so am not too far off. I am intending on reimbursing myself from the business account for my new tyre (just don't tell Mick) so that will be another £65 to add plus I will be reimbursed for L's glasses from a scheme I am in at work so that will be another £35 so I will then have £320.

And I think he will be all sparkly and silver. Shame he won't be raspberry red though but I am letting my head rule my heart as I think this will be the more practical option.

I was wondering why you weren't going for that in the first place and decided you knew something I didn't, I've got my eye on one as well. I'm very happy with my 1970s version.
