Heated rollers!

I was doing a bit of throwing out of stuff today, and in the back of my wardrobe found a very elderly set of heated rollers - remember them  So when I washed my hair, I decided to see if they were still working, and they were - I was bouncing around with this lovely "big" short hair, looked lovely and full and gave my hair a real lift :D :D I was thinking I might put them on the local buy/sell/swop page on FB but now I think I'll hang on to them for a while   I usually use a hot air brush, but rather liked the extra fullness for times when my hair goes a bit flat. A real blast from the past!

Remember them? I bought myself a set of the new bigger 'volume' type ones a couple of years back - they are fab for a bit of root lift when you want it ;) I only bother for evening really, but they do the trick! 8-) :D :D

The thing is they really work! The bigger ones give fantastic volume, rather than curls 8-)

Yes my mum wanted 'lift' as opposed to curls.

I also remember her 'teasing' her hair with a long tailed steel comb to get it just right. :D

Then it was a scoosh of her favourite perfume, a slick of pink lipstick and off they went. :D

Oh the memories. :D :D

Have any of you ever seen these?? Not conventional heated rollers but Becks has some like these - and they give fab ringlets and corkscrew curls, depending on how you wrap the hair around them 8-)

My hair is very very fine and flat, so I used to use them to try and do something with it - then I ended up perming it for years instead
