first time I've seen a picture of it and not being pedantic, but that's not an Ostrich... if it is then it's a very very young one. To me that's a Rhea http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rhea_(bird) and from memory there is a place close to Tunbridge wells that has them as well as wallaby's

Oh the poor thing! Hope it didn't get injured, and that it's back home now, wherever that is! Ria you could be right, but they farm ostriches now too I believe, so maybe there is one locally? It's hard to make it out properly from that pic, he's going at a heck of a pace!
